Gettysburg Battlefield
Here over 50,000 brave Americans died fighting a three day battle for the cause they believed in with all their heart. You feel their bravery, valor and fear as you walk the battlefield.
I thought it very appropriate to see these beautiful violets nestled among the grass... perhaps a tribute the the brave men fallen on this ground.
